Teachers in Alternative Education provide a standards-based, WASC accredited course of instruction designed to satisfy California High School graduation requirements. In addition, our teachers support individual student achievement and provide an environment that promotes College and Career Readiness. Courses include a variety of delivery methods over all subject areas, such as project or portfolio based, hands-on and multi-media or computer labs. Lessons, assignments and projects are centered around common themes that bring continuity to the learning experience.
