Science is a core part of the rich education curriculum available in Alternative Education. Students must earn 10 credits each in Life Science and Physical Science to complete the required course of study for high school graduation. Life Science offerings include Biology, Marine Science, Anatomy & Physiology. Physical Science offerings include Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Astronomy and Renewable Energy. Integrated Science courses such as Environmental Science and Environmental Systems can count for either Life or Physical Science. We offer curriculum using BrightThinker Learning Management System, which can be used both synchronously and asynchronously, in or out of the classroom. We also offer courses with Accelerate Education, which are generally recommended for online credit recovery. In addition, we have curated many multi-media websites to add to create a cross-curricular learning experience. Click on the links below to utilize some of the available online applications.
