History:
Previously during the pandemic, Zoom gave educators unlimited time for Zoom meetings. Now they have removed that privilege for educators, and we have to pay about $100 a year per user to get unlimited time. Most managers have not chosen to buy these licenses for their employees.
We recommend using Google Meet for general video conferencing. If you need a premium Zoom license please speak with your manager and if they approve please submit a tech ticket and we will work on setting you up.

Zoom generally updates automatically. However, there are scenarios where it does not and becomes so out of date that it can no longer run updates.
Can't update?
You may see an error like the one below.
So what's the fix?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom.
Follow these steps:
Uninstall Zoom (instructions below if you need)
Zoom Download (link automatically starts download and detects if you're on Mac or Win)
Install Zoom from the installer
And now Zoom should be able to launch!
