Why are we upgrading to Windows 11? 

End of Windows 10: As of October 2025, Windows 10 will no longer be supported by Microsoft. 

Security: Moving our infrastructure over to Windows 11 gives us the opportunity to make other changes to vastly improve our security infrastructure.

How do I switch to light mode?

We use a dark theme by default in Windows 11 because it can ease eye strain in many people. If things are too dark for you in Windows 11, please see these instructions for changing to light mode.
