Microsoft Office 365
What is Office 365 (O365), and how can it benefit you?
You are likely familiar with MS Office. Office 365 (O365) is the premium version of Office that comes with all the latest features! Microsoft Office products include familiar programs like Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You can use it on your machine without needing the IT team to give you a license directly, and it has an online version much like the Google Suite!
How do I use O365?
O365 is already installed by default on all our Mac and Windows machines. Make sure to check through your installed applications if you don’t see it right away!
When you open the application for the first time you will need to sign in with your COE email address in order to gain access to use the app.
O365 Online
O365 has an online version accessible from any device without the need for downloading an app. This is very similar to Google Suite which many of you are familiar with (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc).
If you wish to use O365 online, please go to https://www.office.com and log in with your COE email and password. If you have not yet set up your security questions for your account as we instructed in our previous email, you will be prompted to set them up during your log in.
Once you have logged in, you will see your online apps on the left column! These function very similarly to Google Docs, Sheets, etc. They do not require a download and can be used straight from inside your web browser.
Do we use Outlook?
No, we use Gmail for our email service.
