Troubleshooting: Google Drive is running but non-functional:

Windows

• Stop the process either by using Task Manager. You will need to look for "Google Drive" as seen in the picture to the right

Mac

• Use Activity Monitor to end the Google Drive process

Next, follow the instructions below to start the Google Drive process again.

Troubleshooting: Fix for Gogole Drive not running:

• If you see the "location is not available" error, it is because Google Drive probably isn't running in the background.

• Look for that application and click on it, that should make it run

• On Windows: 

  1. Go to Start Menu

  2. All apps

  3. Scroll down to "Google Drive" and click on it

• On Mac:

  1. Open the LaunchPad (where you see all your apps)

  2. Scroll around and find "Google Drive", click on it
